The body of bony fish is streamlined because.it increases the speed of fish in water. the streamlined shape of the body acts as aerodynamic regulator i.e, more the streamlined shape,more easier for the fish to swim.

The body of a fish is in streamlined shape as it flows in water which produces fluid friction therefore to cut through that friction and save it’s energy the fish developed a streamlined shape which is pointed in the front and gets thicker in the middle
