Why is the boiling point of para nitrophenol is more then ortho nitrophenol?

Reason for the boiling point of para-nitrophenol to be greater than that ofortho-nitrophenol : ... In p-nitrophenol, molecular association takes place due to extensive hydrogen bonding between the molecules (intermolecular hydrogen bonding). Therefore, it hashigher melting and boiling points.
