why is the cell wall present in the plant cell and not in the animal cell

As plant goes through various harsh conditions and need to face them all standing at one place , therefore their cells require a strong supportive covering so that they could face these unfavourable conditions easily !!

here is your answer the cell wall have many reason to present in plants 1.to provide the ridigity to plant
2.to protect the plant
3.it also give fixed shape to it as it cannot move
but in the case of an animal the have to move from one place to anothe so cell wall is absent in them
