conservation of water is more relevant today than about ten decades back, this is because there is an increment in the population of the world, due to these increment people use more resources to feed, house and enjoy themselves. Also,conservation of water today cut off usage of water more than half. it could also be trace to the fact that it safeguard the natural ecosystem from been destroyed.

Water conservation is more relevant today because of the following reasons.

1.Water now has variety of commercial uses that are a necessity today. Eg. Industrial use, water for electricity.

2.With time the world population has increased and more water is needed to meet the demands of the population.

3.Water is a habitat for some wild animals which also need water at all times. Since the world has embarked on protecting the wild life, then they have to ensure that this habitat is not destroyed.

4.With time farming has really advanced and therefore more water is needed to irrigate crops during dry seasons.

Due to this reasons, water conservation has become more relevant today.
