The constitution of India is acceptable even today as people from different backgrounds, states, religions, castes and creed come together to write the constitution. People from different states brought different ideas of freedom and equality that are seen by everyone as beneficial.

This ensured that the needs and benefits of people are taken care of from all over India.

The slavery of Africa ensured that we include the valued of fraternity, liberty and equality in our constitution.

We also took the idea of being sovereign after the British rule that ensures that no other country will influence the decisions being made by us.

This is why a 70 year old constitution is still accepted today.
