Answer:
The decline of the Indus Valley is a sad event in Indian history because it is believed that the neighbouring desert impinged on the fertile area and the occurrence of frequent floods destroyed the area. The end of an entire civilisation is sad as the Aryans attacked and destroyed it. Also, the change of river courses, earthquakes and epidemics over time led to the saddening end of the civilisation. It affected the agricultural and economic systems so many people had to abandon the place and migrate.
