Why is the density of sea water more than rain water

Salt water has a lot of salt in it. This makes it more denser than rain water which has less amount of different salts in it

Ocean water gets more dense as temperature goes down. So, the colder the water, the more dense it is. Increasing salinity also increases thedensity of sea water. Less densewater floats on top of more densewater.
