in humans all cells are not in direct contact with atmosphere to get adequate oxygen need

so god design us in the way so that we inhale and exhale through lungs and get enough oxygen for respiration that oxidized food and give energy

Here is your answer,
The body of the organism have may organs like kidney, Liver, Nail, Hair, Etc. Sone of them are in direct contact with the environment while some have not. So the organs which has e the first contact with the environment cam get the sufficient oxygen by diffusion bit those which have no contact with the environment like internal organs have to depend on the oXygen carried by the Blood.
