why is the eye care programme of the LRBT innovative
Answers
Answer:
There are 58 Community Eye Health Centers all over Pakistan. Manned by trained paramedics, the CEHCs are the backbone of eye health provision to our patients.
Primary Eye Care is the most basic eye care available to individuals within 3 hours of travel time from the remotest areas of their abode. The CEHC workers are able to manage some cases, diagnose eye diseases, explain possible interventions, with advantages and disadvantages which helps the patient in understanding what needs to be done.
