why is the filament of a bulb kept in a vaccume

HEYA!!!!



FILAMENT OF BULB IS NOT KEPT IN VACUUM.




FILAMENT OF BULB is packed with ARGON gas.



ARGON GAS IS NOBLE GAS.




SO BULB FILAMENT IS NOT KEPT IN VACUUM IT IS FILLED WITH ARGON GAS.

because in the presence of oxygen,the filament would burn up as a result of high temperature so to prevent it . the filament is kept in vaccum

lavanya35: but something is written on Google that the light bulb contains vacuum or some other gas
