Hey guys
Yours answer is .______________________________
Oxygen is the next element to the nitrogen has slightly smaller ionsation enthalpy as compared to the nitrogen. it is due to the fact that the electronic configuration of nitrogen atom is 1s^2,2s^2,2p^3 in which 2p Is half filled is more stable than of oxygen 1s^2,2s^2,2p^4.that is why ionisation enthalpy of nitrogen is higher than oxygen
