why is the floating ice less some submerged in brine than in water

I dont understand the question but...

If it less submerges in bromine then bromine has high density than water.

if it more submerges in bromine then bromine has less density than water.

Floating ice is less submerged in brine than in water because the density of brine is more than the density of water so in brine the floating ice experiences more upthrust as compare to water.
