the chemical compunds will form by satisfying their charges as Na is 1st group it has the charge +1 and for SO4 -2. so in this compound they will get these charges by criss crossing.

Answer:

Sodium or Na is a 1st group alkali metal hence it has the charge +1.

While the SO4 has its charge as  -2.

So to find the compound we have to interchange the charges or the valency's of each other on the bottom side and hence we get the formulae of the compound. In each of the cases we have to find the formulae of the compound like this way.
