Why is the frogs joy both sweet and bitter?

Frog's joy is sweet in the poem " The frog and the Nightingale" because when he trains the Nightingale and makes her to sing on the stage, he gets more money when he has more customers. Frog's joy is bitter because he is jealous of the Nightingale's uprising and the crowd of audience for her song.
