Why is the innermost zone of a flame black in colour ?

Because here not any combustion takes place.......

compustion need oxygen
and as flame has 3 layer so till when oxygen reach innermost layer maximum oxygen gets used up by outer 2 layer and it innermost layer get minimum oxygen ,so it is of black colour
