⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A DETAILED KNOWLEDGE ON EARTH'S INTERIOR ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

◆ CRUST (Lithosphere) : The Crust of the Earth is generally composed of solid crustal rocks and is divided into two sub layers - [1] SIAL & [2] SIMA.

1] SIAL - It is the continental part which is composed of Silicon + aluminium. It is a Granite as well as discontinuous layer.
2] SIMA - It is under the oceanic floor which is composed of Silicon + magnesium. It is a basaltic as well as continuous layer.

[ THE DENSITY OF SIAL IS LOWER THAN SIMA AND HENCE SIAL FLOATS ON SIMA]

◆ MANTLE : It is the second layer of the Earth between the Crust and the Core with its upper boundary marked by Mohorovicic Discontinuity and its lower boundary marked with Gutenberg Discontinuity.

◆ CORE : It is the innermost central layer of the Earth. This layer of Earth is also called as Barosphere. It consists of the dense alloy of nickel and iron (NiFe) with a temperature estimated about to be 2700℃ in this layer. The density of this layer ranges from 14.5 to 16.
