Why is the law of Gay Lussacs not obeyed if any reactant or product is not a gas?

Don't copied it from google give me perfect answer and it is from 11 class

Gay Lussac's law states that the pressure exerted by a gas is directly proportional to the temperature of the gas.
As it is applicable only for a gas, it is obeyed only when a gas is either a reactant or product in a chemical reaction.
