Why is the length of small intestine in cows is longer than that in tigers?

Cows are herbivores. They eat only plants. Plants contain cellulose which requires a longer time for digestion. On the other hand, tigers are carnivores. They eat only meat and flesh which can be digested in a comparatively shorter period. Hence the small intestine of tiger is shorter than that of a cow's small intestine.

This is because cows eat leaves which contains cellulose which is difficult to to be digested. So they need a longer intestine for proper digestion .Whereas tigers eat meat and flesh of other animals which is easily digested. So the tigers have a shorter small intestine
