Why is the light from the moon called cool light and
the light from the sun called hot light?

because the light we obtain from moon is reflected light whereas the sun provide direct light which emits heat

the light we obtain from the moon is reflected light and the heat energy in moon is not powerfull to produced hotness in the moon whereas the sun had the highest amount of energy producing large amount of heat
