why is the melting point of aluminium higher than the melting point of phosphorus?​

Answer:because aluminium has stronger intermolecular forces between its atoms whereas phosphorus has weak forces between its atoms

Explanation:aluminium has strong bonds between its atoms and hence good amount of energy is required to break that bondin phosphorus the forces are weak so less amount of energy is required to break the bonds.hence aluminium has higher melting point than phosphorus
