Why is the pd (potential difference) the same in every branch of the parrel circuit? Can anyone exlpain using the V = IR equation? Thankx in advance

Answer:

In a parallel circuit ,

Current is distributed in branches

I = I1 + I2

V/R = V/R1 + V/R2

But potential is same as  potential drop is same in both branches.
