Both countries have nuclear bombs that can easily cause mass destruction.
If both keep fighting it will lead to loss of human and economic resource. And people of both countries will have hatred towards the other country. They will seek revenge every time.
As lot money is needed to train the army professionals a lots of money will be lost is there is any brutal war or massacre.
