(b) Educational programmes have improved the literacy rate. People understand the need for a small family and population control programmes are becoming quite effective. Thus, the rate of population growth is declining since 1981.
(c) People prefer to have small family because parents want to give a better quality of life to their children like good education, food, recreation, health care, etc.
