Why is the sequence of incidents important while describing an event?
Answers
Answer: To be able to relive the incident just how it happened and to let others see it the same way.
Explanation: Sequence of events denotes the chronological order of the incident or event. It helps to distinguish the starting, middle and end of the incident as if doing the blocks one by one to reach the final stage as as to obtain the entire picture accurately. It is essential to consciously narrate any event or incident in a proper sequence in which it happened to give a complete picture to others when you narrate it otherwise the audience will not be able to interpret the incident and might even infer a different meaning from what the incident was originally due to lack of information. A storyline usually has this organisation. The story's introduction creates the scene and introduces the main characters (exposition). The conflict and tension in a tale typically begin with one single occurrence (inciting element). From there, the story becomes more complicated, the characters encounter more difficulties, and complexities arise (rising action). There will eventually come a turning point where the struggle and strife will either come to an end or not (climax). After that, there will come a time when something resolves (resolution, falling action). Hence a proper sequence should be followed while describing an event.
