Why is the sky blue?

Sky is blue because of the phenomenon of scattering of light. Blue colour has less wavelength therefore it is most scattered while red has maximum wavelength so it is not scattered.

here is ur answer...

Sky have not its own colour. blue light is scattered in all the direction by tiny molecules of air in earth atmosphere. blue is scattered more than other Colors because it travels as shorter, small waves.

That's why sky appears blue.
