Sugar mills require sugarcanes as their primary material so sugar mills are set up in places where good quality sugarcane is grown . Sugar mills are moving towards southern region because-
1. The climate is more favorable to grow sugarcane.
2. The sucrose content is high in the sugarcanes produced in Southern and Western parts .
3. These region have better exporting resources.
