Why is the the absolute poverty measures in terms of calories per head which is 2400 for rural areas and 2100 for urban areas different for both areas ? And why is it greater for rural areas?

this is beacuse rural people do more physical work than compared to urban ones.
the amount of calories is based on different items that are included in their diet basket.
