why is the use of a seed drill more advantageous as compared to sowing seeds by broadcasting?

because by seed drill we can sow seeds on proper distance and get more benefit while it isn't possible in broadcasting

In broadcasting a lost of seeds are deatroyed due to improper distribution of seeds and can also lead to overcrowding . As a reault the seeds die.In drilling method the seeds are dropped in the furrows so its more efficient .In drilling,the seeds are soaked in water for a few hours before sowing,so as to enable quick germination of seeds in those areas where the soil is not moist enough.Thus this method is more advantageous...
