Trees are usually cut and under normal climatic conditions, shrubs or herbaceous plants provide only very incomplete ground cover that is why the desert environments are so dry that they support only extremely sparse vegetation.
So, basically under normal temperature or climatic conditions, the trees are cut.
The desert have an extremely dry environments.
So, many cactus grow in the desert region.
The vegetation of the desert region is not rich.
Only sparse vegetation grow in the desert region.
