our vertebral coloum is made up of 26 vertebraes.it provide flexibility to our body
bcoz if it is made up of single bone then we cant move our body.
as now we are able to bent only bcoz our back bone is made up of no of bones(namely-cervical-7,thorasic-12,lumbar-5,sacral-1 but fused,coccygeal-1 it is also fused)
the number of cervical vertebrae are seven in most mammals.
