Why is the wall of the ventricle thicker than the atrium?

Hii..

Ventricles are thick walled as they have to pump blood with pressure whereas atrium are thin walled as they are recieving chambers

Ventricles are thin walled actually and the arteries have thick wall to provide the pressure of the blood to be constantly fit.
