why is the western coastal plain is devoid of any delta

The rivers of the west side make make Deltas,coz they direct fall from the western ghats into the Arabian Sea.The other reason is that because they r seasonal rivers so they dont have large amt of water nd thats why they dont eroded the banks nd have very less soil nd sand to deposit on the mouth.

This prevents them from forming deltas at their mouths and mostly only estuaries are formed. 1. The western ghats are more elevated than the eastern ghats.
