Erosion and transportation of a river are more in the mountainside than plains. This is because there are more sediments and things to erode in the mountainside than plains. The plains have nothing, only a few plants. They are flat. Meanwhile, mountainsides have so much sediment, making the erosion level higher in the mountainside than plains.
