The differences in the climates are due to the following reasons :

Θ Close to the ocean , the climate is moderate .

Θ In the interior land , climate is extreme

Θ Water has a high specific heat capacity and land has a very low specific capacity

Θ Thus during the day, land gets heated up faster than the water.

Θ Water remains comparatively colder. Thus the sea breeze blows from sea to land

Θ During the night, the opposite happens. The land is faster cooled than water

Θ Hence the water remains comparatively warmer. Warm breeze blows from from sea to land.

Θ Thus temperature is moderate near the seas.

Θ In the interior there is no water body and hence temperature is extreme.

Hope it helps u:)
