Coastal climates are equable. That is it never gets too hot or too cold near the coast.
Second, coastal regions are humid. And lastly, there is always a pleasant land breeze and sea breeze

This is due to the ocean currents. Regions close to ocean gets proper rainfall and have moderate climate but far away from ocean have extreme climate i.e. very hot and very cold .
