Most of the resources that exist is a gift of nature.
They took millions of years to form.ex-coal and petroleum.
Overuse of these resources will lead to its exhaustance.
But these resources are required to be stored for our future generations to come.
Hence resource planning is essential so that without wastage all resources can be sustainabely used.
