there ia no change in change in temperature because the heat energy is absorbed by the atoms in form of latent heat to overcome the intermolecular forces of attraction for the change of state

Answer:

there is no rise in temperature when water is heated continuously because all the heat energy is used in the system during a phase change and which is not used in raising the temperature this is also called " latent heat"
