when we look into the mirror we basically se the image which has turned for 180 degres and so there is a right left inversion

Lateral or right left inversion is effect produced by a plane mirror by reversing the images from left to right. Light rays coming from the left side of the object after reflection image is on the right side. And the image facing opposite to us. so right becomes left and left becomes right.
