Population distribution is simply defined as the pattern in which people are spread all over the world. Distribution of population depends upon number, geographical factor like topography, soil, resources etc. These factor, differ so much over the earth as well as economical and cultural factors like are all responsible for the uneven distribution of people.

the human resources ,like the natural resources are not evenly distributed over the surface of the earth. they vary greatly according to their education ,age ,sex, standard of living, exc. human beings try to concentrate only in those areas where the environmental conditions are suitable for habitation .
