Trachea Is supported by cartilaginous wings so that it does not collapse when no air is present in it..

Hii...

Trachea have incomplete cartilaginous rings present on the ventral side .
They mainly stop the trachea or the wind pipe from collapsing due to any air pressure difference nd secondly they also allow food to pass through oesophagus easily by supporting the trachea ..
