When water gets evaporated from the surface of the leaves, the water is sucked up from the soil by the roots and is transported to the whole plant. This process is called transpiration pull. This fulfills the nutrition needed.

the water from the roots of the plants is pulled up nd it is called as the transpirational pull as transpiration is responsible for the ascent of sap

1)it removes the excess of water
2)it provides water to all parts of the plants
3)it also helps in transporting minerals
