Why is tungsten metal used in bulb but not in fuse wire?

Because tungsten melting point is 3500℃,

so we cann't use in fuse wire

Answer:because it has high melting point.

Explanation:since tungsten metal has a very high melting point, it can resist a large amount of current flowing through it,therefore it is used as filaments in the electric bulbs so that the bulb can glow even at high current but incase of a fuse the wire used should have a low melting point to prevent excess flow of current through the circuit.
