Why is vegetative reproduction called as vegitative reproduction? Why thhe name vegetative, for example if budding is considered to be vegetative then gamete fusion can be termed as non - vegitative right? Then why the name sexual and asexual?

vegetative reproduction is any form of asexual reproduction in which anew plant grows from its vegetative parts like Leave stem flower
these are vegetative parts that is why it is k own as vegetative reproduction.

It is a form of asexual reproduction and it is a term of vegetative propugules ..and plant are grown from its vegetative part like ...leaf ..and ex rhizom ..budd..etc.
