Why is zimbabwe not considered a democratic country?

it is not considered as democratic country because it has a mono part system where elections are always won by zanu. the Zimbabwe african national union was a militant organization that fought against the white minority government of rhodeshia ,formed as a split Zimbabwe african peoples union.Zanu won the 1980 election under the leadership of robert mugabe and seven yrs later merged with joshua nkomo's ZAPU to from zanu-pf.
