Why is zimbavbe not considered as democratic country

Zimbabwe is considered a democratic country because the government of ZANU-PF that led the freedom struggle and it was supported by the people. However, the party exercised some corrupt practices and repressed the people. Though, it is still considered to be a parliamentary democracy.

Zimbabwe is not considered as democratic country because there were no freedom of speech as well as no right to choose their own representatives for the country.citizens were not involved at all in any of the decisions or other things related to country.
