It is difficult to cut a stream of water due to its intermolecular force .As you try to cut the stream of water the intermolecular force between its particles attract each other and thus, it becomes difficult to cut the stream of water .

HOPE IT HELP : )

Anonymous: solids also have the same force.
ritika199: but liquid has the less intermolecular force than solid
Anonymous: we can't cut water stream because its molecules can displace but in case of solid they can't
ritika199: it is not impossible to cut the stream of water
Anonymous: right
priscillashruth: YA IT IS CORRECT
priscillashruth: BECAUSE WATER IS FLUID

WE CAN NOT CUT WATER DUE TO INTERMOLECULAR FORCE OF ATTRACTION

WE CAN CUT THE THE FLOE OF WATER BY PLACING OUR HAND B/W THE STREAM OF WATER

WATER IS THE FLUID FORM OF MATTER IN WHICH THEY POSSES THE INTER MOLECULAR FORCE OF ATTRACTION..

ritika199: 2nd para. the first line ,there have some spelling mistakes
ritika199: u have written floe it is flow
priscillashruth: galti se hogaya mam
