why it is easier to stop a tennis ball than a cricket ball ?

it depends upon the momentum which is dependent on the mass and its velocity. Since tennis ball has lighter mass than Cricket ball so we need less force to stop tennis ball relative to cricket ball.

Because of the momentum (which is mass multiplied by velocity). So even if the velocity is same, the mass of leather ball (cricket Ball) is greater than that of tennis ball and hence has more momentum and not easier to stop.
