It is necessary to defferentiate between plants and animals because they both are quite very much different. Their classification gives more precise information about them. This also gives their features at a glance to the observers and researchers and make it easy for them to learn about both of them.

for plants:-

1. They possess chlorophyll.
2. They are stationary at one place.
3. have a cell wall made of cellulose.
4. have a big and more number of vacuole.
5. They don't have centrosomes.

For animals:-

1. Have limbs and can move.
2. They have centrosomes.
3. don't possess any cell wall.
4. They have no or very few vacuole in their cell.
5. They don't possess chlorophyll.

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU. . . . . . . . .

There is good reason for this . Plants and animals both are living things . They are different only in their apperance and internal functions . They are classified so that studying them is easier . Just imagine if your libarary books are not arranged according to their names or the author? How difficult it would be for the library to take the desired book out from the racks ...
