We should not talk while eating.

It is because while eating , a flap of cartilage covers the wind pipe so as to avoid food enter the trachea.

Talking during eating is bad for stomach due to the fact that some air also goes with the food, leading to blocks in food pipe and uneasiness caused in swallowing.
