Because it is a coming together federation and india is holding together federation so this is a main reason why india have give some special status to Kashmir

Because Jammu and Kashmir there name are with together and they are most beautiful place in India and also for Kashmir the both Pakistan and India are enemy and they also fight for it and few part of Jammu and Kashmir are in india few in Pakistan and the capital of Jammu and Kashmir is Srinagar.
